A couple things to consider about the busy-ness of the wood........ are you planning on using area rugs over the wood at all? That would make a difference. And I also would not go with number 1, it looks so evenly dark that every little foozle would show! And in order to not show every spot, I would tend to go with the more busy wood, esp. 2 & 4. (and notice they also have the darker lines between the boards, which would also be good!) So, I look forward which one you use!!!

Hugs from Diane in MichiganDiane Fay (littlealma)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02825847496677271674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9115305384983859877.post-61874908983057443412013-11-23T13:20:54.379-05:002013-11-23T13:20:54.379-05:00Love #2! My daughter just put down laminate and it is a darker shade, and that is her only complaint, the darker color shows all the dust!!! We found a really nice one at Home Depot that lots of authentic looking texture and had a great rustic look. Not too dark so as to show dust and dog hair, and not too light. It just might be "the one." : )Stephanie @ The Cozy Old Farmhousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06570129561305128679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9115305384983859877.post-59731201159513184122013-11-17T07:48:33.423-05:002013-11-17T07:48:33.423-05:00I agree about needing a little darker color to con...I agree about needing a little darker color to contrast. I use white vinegar and water to clean it - no streaks and lots of natural shine. It is a dark rustic walnut color tho and probably a little darker than I would've liked - but it is a very rustic old farmhouse look that I wanted so we went with it. You'll love that hickory color.Dori at The Red Feedsackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09600940689338767875noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9115305384983859877.post-49312086655032262252013-11-15T16:08:11.894-05:002013-11-15T16:08:11.894-05:001st choice #3. 2nd is #1. We have the thinner planks, and it looks fine, but I would prefer the wider ones if we had the chance to redo floors.Instagram.com/melissasnoteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03389672466065251231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9115305384983859877.post-58092609180923977512013-11-15T09:48:35.290-05:002013-11-15T09:48:35.290-05:00I really like Bala Tan #4.
